Dancing in the streets….and tires burning out in 2017!
In 2011 Scott Tom began bringing Classic Oldies music to the streets of Cruisin’ Sherwood leading to dancing and even a wedding proposal! As a popular DJ on Oldies 106.7, Scott Tom is no stranger to music-to- have-some-fun too!
Cruisin’ 2017 will be a blast as Scott Tom and Audio Entertainment fill the town of Sherwood with the music of our past!
Burnout: A burnout (also known as a peel out or power brake) is the practice of keeping a vehicle stationary (or close to) and spinning its wheels, causing the tires to heat up and smoke due to friction.” (Per Wikipedia) At Cruisin’ the audience determines which vehicle has the Best Burnout by applause. Burnout is at 11 am.
Engine Blow: Engine Blow is when a car is drained of coolant but left the oil and then ran until its engine dies. Audience members place bets to determine how long the engine will run until it “blows”. Engine Blow immediately follows the Burnout Competition.
